CASSADAGA BEACH 2021
This year at the beach was very busy with many activities and a year of a few obstacles to overcome. Beside our rainy days we had a problem with our bathhouse and had to close beach for septic problems for a day. Another problem was bacteria from duck and goose droppings in our beach front. Within a couple days we were able to reopen and have found ways to keep the water moving to dissipate the problem. We had a paddle boat donated by Susan Asquith and 3 kayaks donated by Kim Collins that beach visitors could use for free. This gave many people a chance to kayak that never were able to before. The youth also kept our basketball court busy and our Cassadaga Pickleball players enjoyed many games on the pickleball court that is within the basketball court. Besides beach activities Wilson Endurance Sports held monthly triathlons at the beach and a Kids Triathlon and a Cassadaga Man. Park United Methodist Church held there Sunday service at the Beach on July 25th with a baptism in the lake.
